- sliced almonds

- shallot minced

Method
- 01Bring large saucepan of water to boil with 2 tsp salt. Add green beans, cook 2-3 minutes until bright green. Drain, rinse under cold water, drain again.10 min
- 02Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add almonds, stir to coat. Add shallot, garlic, pepper, and 1/2 tsp salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until shallots soften and almonds toast, about 5 minutes.
- 03Add green beans to skillet, toss with almond mixture. Cook 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- 04Transfer to serving bowl. Sprinkle with lemon zest and serve with lemon wedges.
