Baked Salmon

Ingredients

soy sauce low-sodium
1/4 cup
water
1/4 cup
brown sugar
1/4 cup
garlic minced
2 cloves
ginger minced
2 tsp
xanthan gum
1/4 tsp
salmon filets skin on
1 lb
green onions sliced
to taste
sesame seeds
to taste

Method

  1. 01Combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a large bowl. Add salmon, cover, and marinate 30 min.30 min
  2. 02Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
  3. 03Remove salmon from marinade, place skin side down on the sheet, and bake 10-15 min until internal temperature reaches 145°F.15 min
  4. 04While salmon bakes, pour remaining marinade into a saucepan with xanthan gum. Heat over medium, simmer 5-10 min until thickened, whisking frequently.10 min
  5. 05Drizzle thickened sauce over cooked salmon. Top with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve.
