  1. 01Heat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. 02In a large bowl, toss chicken, bell peppers, onion, and olive oil until coated.
  3. 03Add sugar, salt, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne. Mix until evenly seasoned.
  4. 04Spread mixture in a single layer on air fryer tray or basket. Do not overlap.
  5. 05Cook 5 minutes at 400°F.5 min
  6. 06Toss and separate chicken pieces with tongs. Rotate trays if using oven-style fryer.
  7. 07Cook 3 to 5 more minutes until chicken is cooked through and peppers are softened.
