Ingredients

basil fresh
1 cups
hemp seeds
1/8 cup
olive oil
1/8 cup
lemon juice
1 tbsp
garlic
1 clove
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
nutritional yeast
1/2 tbsp

Method

  1. 01Pulse basil, hemp seeds, garlic, and lemon juice in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
  2. 02Add olive oil and pulse until a thick paste forms.
  3. 03Stir in nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. 04Transfer to a container and top with a thin layer of olive oil to prevent browning. Refrigerate up to 5 days or freeze in ice cube trays up to 3 months.
