Ingredients

heirloom tomatoes cored, cut into wedges or chunks

mixed salad greens torn or left whole

cucumber sliced or cut into chunks

red onion thinly sliced

fresh basil torn or left whole
1/4 cup
extra-virgin olive oil
3 tbsp
red wine vinegar
1 tbsp
salt to taste
to taste
black pepper to taste
to taste

Method

  1. 01Combine greens, tomatoes, cucumber, and onion in a large bowl.
  2. 02Whisk olive oil and vinegar together.
  3. 03Dress salad with vinaigrette and toss gently.
  4. 04Season with salt and pepper.
  5. 05Top with basil and serve immediately.
