Heirloom Garden Salad
Ingredients
- heirloom tomatoes cored, cut into wedges or chunks
- 1.5 lb
- mixed salad greens torn or left whole
- 6 oz
- cucumber sliced or cut into chunks
- 1
- red onion thinly sliced
- 1/4
- fresh basil torn or left whole
- 1/4 cup
- extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp
- red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp
- salt to taste
- to taste
- black pepper to taste
- to taste
Method
- 01Combine greens, tomatoes, cucumber, and onion in a large bowl.
- 02Whisk olive oil and vinegar together.
- 03Dress salad with vinaigrette and toss gently.
- 04Season with salt and pepper.
- 05Top with basil and serve immediately.
