Salmon Bowl
Ingredients
- salmon fillet skin-on
- 10 oz
- soy sauce
- 2 tbsp
- mirin
- 1 tbsp
- rice vinegar
- 1 tsp
- ginger minced
- 1 tsp
- garlic minced
- 1 clove
- cooked rice
- 2 cups
- cucumber sliced
- 1
- avocado sliced
- 1
- nori torn into strips
- 1 sheet
- sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp
- scallion sliced
- 1
- salt
- to taste
- black pepper
- to taste
Method
- 01Whisk soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic for the glaze.
- 02Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- 03Season salmon with salt and pepper, place skin-side down in the skillet.
- 04Cook 4 minutes until skin is crisp.
- 05Flip salmon, brush with glaze, cook 2 minutes until cooked through.
- 06Divide rice between two bowls.
- 07Top each bowl with salmon, cucumber, avocado, nori, sesame seeds, and scallion.
