Salmon Bowl

Ingredients

salmon fillet skin-on
10 oz
soy sauce
2 tbsp
mirin
1 tbsp
rice vinegar
1 tsp
ginger minced
1 tsp
garlic minced
1 clove
cooked rice
2 cups
cucumber sliced
1
avocado sliced
1
nori torn into strips
1 sheet
sesame seeds
1 tbsp
scallion sliced
1
salt
to taste
black pepper
to taste

Method

  1. 01Whisk soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic for the glaze.
  2. 02Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. 03Season salmon with salt and pepper, place skin-side down in the skillet.
  4. 04Cook 4 minutes until skin is crisp.
  5. 05Flip salmon, brush with glaze, cook 2 minutes until cooked through.
  6. 06Divide rice between two bowls.
  7. 07Top each bowl with salmon, cucumber, avocado, nori, sesame seeds, and scallion.
