chicken breasts boneless skinless

garlic powder
1/2 tsp
Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp

parmesan cheese freshly grated
1/3 cup
basil fresh, sliced or torn
1 cup
heavy cream
1 cup
chicken broth
1/4 cup
dry white wine
1/4 cup
tomato paste double concentrated
3 tbsp
cornstarch
1/2 tbsp
dried oregano
1/2 tsp
garlic minced
3 cloves

Method

  1. 01Preheat oven to 400°F and move rack to top third.
  2. 02Place chicken breasts in a 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. 03Whisk cream, broth, wine, tomato paste, cornstarch, oregano, and minced garlic until smooth.
  4. 04Pour sauce around chicken.
  5. 05Bake uncovered 30-35 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F in thickest part.33 min
  6. 06Sprinkle parmesan and basil over chicken. Stir sauce and spoon over chicken.
  7. 07Rest 5 minutes. Season with additional salt and pepper as needed.5 min
