- broccoli cut into bite-sized florets
- 1/2 lb
- extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp
- garlic cloves trimmed, halved or thirds if large
- 1/4 cup
- salt to taste

- black pepper freshly ground, to taste

Method
- 01Preheat oven to 450°F.
- 02Toss broccoli, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- 03Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- 04Roast until broccoli is bright green with browning edges and garlic is lightly browned, about 20 minutes.20 min
