Sautéed Broccolini with Fresh Lemon and Garlic

olive oil

garlic thinly sliced
12 cloves
red pepper flakes
1 1/8 to 1/2 tsp
broccolini trimmed, halved lengthwise if thick
36 oz
sea salt
to taste
water
3/4 cup
lemon juice fresh
6 tbsp
Parmesan cheese grated
to taste

Method

  1. 01Heat olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt.
  2. 02Cook 30 seconds, then add broccolini with another pinch of salt and toss gently for 1 to 2 minutes until lightly coated with oil.
  3. 03Add water, cover, and cook 8 to 10 minutes, tossing occasionally, until tender and vibrant green.10 min
  4. 04Remove from heat, toss with lemon juice, and season with salt to taste.
  5. 05Serve with Parmesan cheese and extra lemon if desired.
