  1. 01Thaw shrimp in cool water, remove shells and devein. Rinse, drain, and transfer to a small bowl.10 min
  2. 02Drizzle shrimp with 2 tbsp olive oil, half the garlic, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and red pepper flakes. Toss and let sit 20 minutes.
  3. 03Warm 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and garlic mixture, spacing evenly.
  4. 04Cook 1 to 1.5 minutes until shrimp begin to turn opaque, then flip. Cook 1 more minute until golden. Transfer to a plate.
  5. 05If browned garlic bits remain, remove them from the skillet to prevent bitterness.
  6. 06Melt 3 tbsp butter in the skillet over medium heat and add remaining garlic. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. 07Stir in white wine and lemon juice. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce reduces by half.
  8. 08Return shrimp with any juices to the pan. Stir in remaining 1 tbsp butter and 1/2 tsp kosher salt. Cook 1 minute.
  9. 09Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm with bread, pasta, or rice.
