Ingredients

black beans

crushed tomatoes

chipotle in adobo

chili powder

maple syrup

Method

  1. 01Cook sprouted lentils according to package directions.
  2. 02Heat avocado oil in a large pot on medium-high heat.
  3. 03Add onion, cook 3 minutes until translucent.
  4. 04Add red pepper, cook 3 minutes on medium heat.
  5. 05Add garlic, sprouted lentils, and black beans. Cook on low 2-3 minutes.
  6. 06Add crushed tomatoes, chipotle, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and maple syrup. Stir and bring to a boil on medium-high heat.
  7. 07Reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.10 min
  8. 08Serve with fresh cilantro and lime.
