Sesame Chicken

Ingredients

chicken breast cut into 1/2 inch strips or cubes
1 lb
cornstarch
2 tbsp
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
olive oil
1 tbsp
soy sauce
3 tbsp
honey
2 tbsp
sriracha
1 tsp
ginger grated
1 tsp
garlic minced
1 clove
sesame seeds
2 tbsp
sesame oil
1 tbsp
white rice cooked
for serving
scallions chopped
small bunch

Method

  1. 01Whisk soy sauce, honey, sriracha, ginger, garlic, sesame seeds, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  2. 02Toss chicken with cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. 03Heat a large pan over high heat for 2 minutes.
  4. 04Add oil and chicken to pan, stir-fry 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  5. 05Add sauce and simmer 3-4 minutes until thick and sticky.
  6. 06Transfer to a plate, top with scallions, and serve with rice.
