Method
- 01Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan or Bundt pan. Sprinkle chopped pecans over bottom.
- 02Combine cake mix, pudding, water, rum, oil, and eggs. Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed.
- 03Pour batter into tube pan.
- 04Bake at 325°F for 50 to 60 minutes.55 min
- 05Pour hot rum glaze over cake while still in pan. Allow cake to cool in pan 30 minutes.30 min
- 06For glaze: combine sugar, rum, butter, and water. Simmer 2 minutes, yielding about 1 cup.
