Instant Pot Ground Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients
- ground turkey frozen or thawed
- 3 lb
- garlic minced
- 12 cloves
- ginger finely grated
- 3 tbsp
- honey
- 9 tbsp
- soy sauce reduced sodium
- 9 tbsp
- sesame oil
- 4 1/2 tsp
- red pepper flakes
- 3/4 tsp
- black pepper
- 3/8 tsp
- carrot shredded
- 3 carrot
- romaine lettuce leaves
- as needed
- green onions
- for serving
- water
- 3 cup
Method
- 01For frozen meat: remove from packaging and place 1 cup water in Instant Pot insert. Set trivet over water and frozen meat on trivet.
- 02Set valve to sealing and pressure cook on high for 5 minutes.5 min
- 03Quick release pressure, then carefully remove trivet and meat from pot.
- 04Discard cooking liquid and return meat to insert with garlic, ginger, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
- 05Select sauté and cook, breaking meat up with spatula, for 3 to 5 minutes until fully cooked through.
- 06Stir in carrots, then spoon filling into romaine leaves and top with green onions.
- 07For thawed meat: combine meat, garlic, ginger, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and black pepper in Instant Pot.
- 08Set valve to sealing and pressure cook on high for 2 minutes.
- 09Quick release pressure and remove lid.
- 10Select sauté and simmer, breaking meat up with spatula, for 3 to 5 minutes until sauce reduces and meat is cooked through.
- 11Stir in carrots, then spoon filling into romaine leaves and top with green onions.
