Basil Pesto with Lemon

Ingredients

fresh basil packed
6 cup
pine nuts
1 1/2 cup
garlic minced
9 clove
lemon zest and juice

Parmesan cheese grated
1 1/2 cup
olive oil
1 1/2 cup
salt
to taste
black pepper
to taste

Method

  1. 01Pulse basil, pine nuts, garlic, and lemon zest in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
  2. 02Add Parmesan and pulse to combine.
  3. 03Drizzle in olive oil while pulsing until pesto reaches desired consistency.
  4. 04Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. 05Freeze in ice cube trays, then transfer cubes to freezer bags for storage.
