- pine nuts

- lemon zest and juice

Method
- 01Pulse basil, pine nuts, garlic, and lemon zest in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
- 02Add Parmesan and pulse to combine.
- 03Drizzle in olive oil while pulsing until pesto reaches desired consistency.
- 04Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 05Freeze in ice cube trays, then transfer cubes to freezer bags for storage.
