Ingredients

asparagus trimmed, woody ends removed
1/2 lb
shallot thinly sliced
1 shallot
garlic minced
2 cloves
lemon juiced
1 lemon
olive oil
1 tbsp
salt to taste
to taste
black pepper to taste
to taste

Method

  1. 01Heat oil and sliced shallots in a large skillet over medium heat until sizzling.
  2. 02Add garlic and sauté for 5 minutes until shallots turn golden-brown.
  3. 03Increase heat to medium-high, add asparagus, and toss to coat.
  4. 04Reduce heat to medium, add lemon juice, cover, and cook 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. 05Season with salt and pepper to taste.
