Honey Teriyaki Drumsticks

Ingredients

soy sauce low sodium
1/8 cup
rice wine
1 1/2 tbsp
honey
1 tbsp
garlic minced
1 cloves
ginger fresh grated
1/2 tsp
sriracha
1/2 tsp
chicken drumsticks skin removed

sesame seeds
1/2 tbsp
scallions chopped
to taste

Method

  1. 01Combine soy sauce, rice wine, honey, garlic, ginger, and sriracha in a skillet over medium-low heat, stirring for 2 minutes.
  2. 02Add drumsticks, cover, and cook 5 minutes.5 min
  3. 03Turn drumsticks, cover, and cook 20 minutes over medium-low.20 min
  4. 04Turn again, cover, and cook 15 minutes until very tender.15 min
  5. 05Uncover and simmer until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  6. 06Finish with scallions and sesame seeds.
  7. 07Instant Pot method: Use saute button, add soy sauce, rice wine, honey, garlic, ginger, and sriracha, cook 2 minutes stirring.
  8. 08Add drumsticks, cover, lock lid, and cook on high pressure 15 to 20 minutes until tender.18 min
  9. 09Release pressure, finish with scallions and sesame seeds.
