Chile Sweet Pepper Pizza

- sweet and chile peppers thinly sliced

- mozzarella cheese grated

- cheddar cheese grated
- 8 oz
- pizza dough room temperature
- 4 (12-inch)
- rice flour
- for dusting
- basil julienned
- for finishing
Method
- 01Melt butter in a small pot or skillet. Add minced garlic and a pinch of salt, remove from heat, and let rest.
- 02Preheat oven or grill to pizza temperature.
- 03Remove pizza dough from refrigerator if needed and let rest, covered, at room temperature while preheating.
- 04Combine crushed tomatoes and 1/2 tsp salt in a small bowl. Thinly slice peppers and grate cheeses.
- 05Stretch dough into a 12-inch circle. Place on a floured pizza peel, spread tomato sauce over dough, add an even layer of peppers, then cheeses.
- 06Bake until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown and cooked through.
- 07Remove from oven and immediately brush crust with garlic butter. Finish with fresh basil.
