Lo Mein

Ingredients

dark soy sauce
2 tbsp
light soy sauce
1 tbsp
oyster sauce
3 tbsp
sesame oil
2 tsp
sugar
1 tsp
garlic grated
1 clove
ramen noodles uncooked
5 oz
green onions chopped
3
carrots julienne cut or chopped
1 1/2 cups
red bell pepper julienne cut or chopped
1 1/2 cups
mirin
1 1/2 tbsp

Method

  1. 01Shake dark soy, light soy, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and garlic in a jar.
  2. 02Cook ramen according to package directions. Drain and set aside.10 min
  3. 03Heat sesame oil in a large wok or skillet. Add white parts of green onions and vegetables, stir fry until fork-tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. 04Add mirin to loosen browned bits from pan bottom.
  5. 05Add cooked noodles and half the sauce, toss to combine. Add more sauce as needed until noodles are medium brown.
  6. 06Serve topped with remaining green onion parts.
