Spamsliced into 8 slabs
1 1/2 (12 oz) can
soy sauce
4 1/2 tbsp
mirin
1 1/2 tbsp
noricut into 8 strips

  1. 01Whisk rice vinegar, sugar, and salt; fold into warm rice.
  2. 02Pan-fry Spam slabs over medium-high heat until edges brown, 2 min per side.
  3. 03Whisk soy sauce and mirin; brush onto cooked Spam.
  4. 04Wrap a nori strip around a musubi mold or small rectangular form.
  5. 05Pack rice into mold, press down, top with a Spam slab, press again.
  6. 06Lift mold away; wrap nori ends around the block and seal with a dab of rice.
  7. 07Repeat with remaining rice, Spam, and nori.
