Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
- sweet potatoes peeled, cubed into 1-inch pieces
- 4.8 lbs
- butter
- 2 3/8 tbsp
- garlic crushed
- 7 cloves
- milk
- 1.2 cup
- sour cream
- 4.8 tbsp
- salt to taste
- to taste
- black pepper freshly ground, to taste

Method
- 01Place sweet potatoes in slow cooker and add just enough water to cover them. Add salt to water, cover, and set to 4 hours on LOW.4 hr
- 02Melt butter in a small saute pan and sauté garlic until lightly golden.
- 03Drain potatoes in a colander and return to slow cooker.
- 04Pour garlic butter over potatoes, add milk and sour cream, and mash until smooth.
- 05Adjust salt and pepper to taste. Keep slow cooker on warm until ready to serve or up to 2 hours.
