  2. 02Blanch green beans in salted boiling water until just tender, 5 min. Drain and set aside.5 min
  3. 03Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. 04Sauté mushrooms, onion, and garlic until softened, 5 min.5 min
  5. 05Stir in cream of mushroom soup and milk until combined.
  6. 06Add green beans and season with salt and pepper.
  7. 07Transfer to a 9x13 baking dish and top with 1½ cups fried onions.
