Method
- 01Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set a plate lined with paper towel aside.
- 02Cut bread into 3/4-inch cubes. Toss with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Spread evenly on baking sheet.
- 03Bake, tossing every 5 minutes, for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown but still chewy in center. Transfer to lined plate to cool.12 min
- 04Whisk mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, Dijon, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Stir in Parmesan, then water. Season with black pepper to taste.
- 05Place romaine in a large bowl. Drizzle dressing over lettuce and toss gently. Top with croutons and remaining Parmesan. Serve immediately.
